GENTLEMAN proposes a lot of options and configurations to propagate an orbit then build TLEs. Anyway, in order to allow to start first simulations very quickly, the GENTLEMAN GUI, many parameters are set to default values.
1. Launch the main GUI
To launch the GUI you only have to double click on Windows systems or type :
java -jar gentleman-xx.x-jar-with-dependencies.jar
Then, the GUI is displayed as is:
2.Initialize the orbit
The only data needing to be correctly initialize is the orbit. Indeed, by default, it is set as a “simple” LEO orbit but with zero apogee altitude.
So let us fill these entries with a 299/300km orbit as the eccentricity of the orbit must be greater than 0 (see [Orbit Orbit] data).
